Here Tyler is waiting with the other Kindergartners in his class. Normally, he will just go in straight to the gym, but I guess the teacher thought the students (and moms) would feel better if the kiddos were greeted by the door. In the back is his teacher Mrs. Tracy VanSchoick (aka. Mrs. V). How could a teacher with her name be bad??ha ha ha

This is Tyler's name tag on his DESK!! Yes, I said desk, not table. Kindergarten is no longer "accelerated play" it is real school. Tyler has a reading book and a handwriting book in his desk!!
This is where a lot of Tyler's learning will take place this year, his classroom. Tyler's desk is in the back row, the first one with a bag on it. Why she put MY kid in the back, I will never know...just kidding. There are only 13 in his class, I am sure they will move around a lot. Notice there is NO kitchen!! That is one of my biggest memories of Kindergarten was playing in the kitchen!!
The Kindergartner's finally made it to the gym! Here Tyler waits with his class. IT is such a bitter-sweet moment!! I am so proud that he was not sad to see me go, yet excited to go to school - he is excited to learn to read!! However, I cannot believe my BABY is in KINDERGARTEN!!! Where did 6 years go???
